The Trade Desk Co-founder and CEO Jeff Green has said the public discussion around the company’s dispute with Publicis Groupe has been “overdramatised”, adding that negotiations between the two companies are continuing.Speaking during The Trade Desk’s Q1 2026 earnings call, Green addressed questions around the company’s relationship with Publicis and the impact on its business outlook.“I think that has been overdramatised, and I am hopeful that we are nearing the end of this public discussion,” Green said during the call. He added that The Trade Desk has done “billions of dollars” of business with Publicis since 2018 and continues to remain in discussions regarding the next phase of the partnership.The issue comes after reports that Publicis had advised certain clients against working with The Trade Desk following an audit related to fee structures, media spending and advertiser visibility into data and platform costs.
