AI code testing platform Blacksmith raises $45 million led by Peak XV, valued at $550 million

Blacksmith’s cofounder and CEO Aditya Jayaprakash, in a blog post, said “Since the start of the year, the number of CI (Continuous Integration) jobs run on Blacksmith has grown by 5-10% week over week, as more engineers adopt AI codegen tools.” CI involves certain automated tests that help expedite bug fixes, improve software quality, etc.
