Amazon completes $50 billion OpenAI investment as ChatGPT maker nears IPO

The investment completes one of the biggest funding deals in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector, giving Amazon a roughly 5% stake in OpenAI ahead of the ChatGPT maker's planned public listing, the Financial Times reported.
